Eat or Drink Fruit?

Do you eat fruit or drink fruit juice instead?

You consume more calories in 1 cup of orange juice than 1 whole orange.

1 whole orange = 12g sugar

1 cup orange juice = 20g sugar

Think about it. How many oranges do you need to squeeze to fill 1 cup? About 4 oranges? Then that's a lot of fruit in 1 cup. And a lot of sugar!

Instead of orange juice, have an orange.

Instead of apple juice, have an apple.

Instead of pineapple juice, have pineapple.

By eating your fruit, you will also feel fuller for longer because you are consuming the fibre contained in the skin and pulp of the fruit.
