Spring up your diet and enjoy good health and immunity during this spring season.
Eating seasonal produce are likely to be richer in nutrients, superior in taste, cheaper in price and locally grown.
As the weather warms up, strawberries as well as passionfruit and banana peak in flavour.
Spring vegetables include spring onions, green leafy vegetables such as spinach, swiss chard, nettle and dandelions. Vegetable flowers such as asparagus and okra also begin to flourish. Peas and radishes are good spring snacks.
Dairy food tastes fresher and superior because cows lactate and produce more milk, while hens begin laying more eggs. Enjoy good quality A2 or organic milk, as well as organic eggs and fresh cheese.
