Here are the Lebanese Vegan Superfoods you can incorporate more regularly into your diet.


Sauteed Dandelion (Arabic Hindbeh). Dandelions - these nutritious edible weeds are great immune boosters, gut replenishers and blood cleansers. They are high in vitamin A, C, K and many minerals to nourish and cleanse the body.


Okra (Arabic ‘Beme’). Okra is a great gut cleanser. It helps to attract toxins are rid the body of excess waste.


Zaatar spread is an excellent superfood rich in vitamin C from sumac berry, calcium from sesame seeds and anti-microbial properties from oregano.
