Sugar is addictive, just like cocaine, alcohol and tobacco in both adults and children worldwide. Sugar is hidden in over 70% of supermarket food products.


We have been programmed to eat sugary cereals for breakfast, sweet muesli bars for snacks, sugary soft drinks with lunch, an ice cream scoop after dinner and a sweet treat for supper.


Refined sugars mess with our biology. It switches on the wrong hormones to make you eat more and more. It’s a vicious cycle and if you binge on food you know what I’m talking about.

When I stopped consuming sugar, my food cravings diminished and I was no longer hungry ALL THE TIME.


What is our solution?


The first step is to make a Switch from refined sugars to natural sugars because refined sugars are not found in nature so our bodies don’t recognises it as a food. In fact, the immune system attacks sugar like a poison and our immune system weakens with every teaspoon we ingest.


Switching all refined sugars (white sugar, raw sugar, syrups, etc.) to fresh fruits, dried fruits, raw honey, coconut sugar and carob molasses are good alternative sweeteners.


Fruits come packaged with nutrition. Refined sugar comes packaged with poisons (bleaching agents, chemical residues) which affects our health.


Breaking free from sugar addiction is a process.
