Ten Ways to Detoxify Our Body Today

Our bodies detoxify waste every single minute of every single day. Our lungs, skin, kidneys, liver and colon excrete so much waste as we consume more unnatural toxins coming from our diet and environment. Let’s cleanse the body of unwanted wastes and prevent more dangerous particles from entering our bodies:


1.     Pure mineral water can help flush away water-soluble toxins lurking in the body. However, we don’t always receive clean tap which is why it’s important to drink filtered water using a filter system that has reverse osmosis.

2.     Select organic fresh fruits and vegetables to avoid pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and other toxic sprayed chemicals. Organic foods are high in antioxidants to detoxify free-radicals from our bodies. Amazing detoxifier are: lemon, dandelion, spinach, okra, broccoli, rocket, coriander, carrot and apple (Red Delicious variety offer powerful antioxidants), grapefruit, garlic, pineapple, oregano and parsley.

3.     Exercise! Sweating releases toxins through the skin. For example, as we sweat we can detoxify phthalates from perfumes and BPA from plastics.

4.     Avoid car or household items that might off-gas such as a brand new car, VOC paint or certain plastics.

5.     Destress to help to restore hormonal levels and facilitate the bodies detoxification system.

7.     Eat more leafy greens: Green foods are rich in a pigment called chlorophyll which is a powerful blood detoxifier. Choose dandelion greens, spinach, kale and swiss chard. The darker those leafy greens, the richer the chlorophyll and the higher the detoxifying potential.

8.     Choose grass-fed meat to avoid fat-storing toxins and antibiotics found in conventional grain-fed meat.
